Settings can be saved in a variety of ‘sets’ and ‘sub-sets’ which are stored within the Project file
The different ‘sets’ are named as they are saved by the user (e.g. 'Overview Map', 'Black and white symbols', etc.), and within them, the ‘sub-sets’ relate to the data defined in the various DatMapR windows.

By saving (for example) a complete 'set' comprising all 'sub-sets', and further sets holding only 'Symbols', it would be easy to recreate a map largely based on the complete set but
using coloured symbols for a presentation and black and white symbols for publication. The 'complete' set would be reloaded first, and the 'symbols only' set would then be reloaded leaving
the other settings untouched.
To save settings, a ‘set’ name should be entered or a name can be chosen from the pull-down list of already stored names, and the appropriate 'settings sub-set' check boxes should be ticked (by default all will be ticked).
The Save Selected Settings button will then save the settings within the Project file. If an existing name is used, a message will ask for confirmation that the previous settings should be overwritten.
